About the Band

Four friends, countless songs

From Kalamazoo, Michigan, Joshua Tree features Folk-Americana music with traditional and original songs blended in harmony along with guitar, banjo, mandolin, mandola, fiddle, and bass.

The Story

What started as casual jam sessions between friends evolved into Joshua Tree—a quartet united by their love of acoustic music and vocal harmony. Based in Kalamazoo, Michigan, they draw from the rich traditions of American folk and Americana music.

Their music emphasizes the kind of vocal harmony that makes you feel like you're sitting with old friends around a campfire. From farmers markets to wedding celebrations, from house concerts to downtown venues, they bring the same warmth everywhere they play.

In 2024, their original song “Hide from the Devil” was featured in the independent film “Was Once a Hero,” earning the Director's Choice Award for original music at the Wild Bunch Film Festival.
